Little Women

Concord, Massachusetts

The 2019 Little Women film is set in the stunning city of Concord, Massachusetts. Plan a vacation to visit some of the incredible sights and scenery from the film. Perhaps one of the most exciting sites to see is Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House—the very home where Louisa sat as she wrote the novel. The house has been converted into a museum that you can walk through to learn more about the author’s life and see the scenery that inspired the setting for the book and films.

Near the Orchard House, there are a few filming locations from the recent 2019 film. Visit the Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate in Canton, the filming location for Aunt March’s house. Or explore the Lyman Estate in Waltham to see the veranda that Jo and Laurie dance on during the movie.

Take a trip to Concord to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Little Women movie.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Guernsey, England

The award-winning novel The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is set in the beautiful Islands of Guernsey, and the 2018 movie by the same name captures that beauty.

Guernsey is made up of five different islands—each of which offers so much for visitors to explore. Unrelated to the movie, the islands are home to many beaches, museums, shops, and restaurants. Visitors can explore the islands and experience all the fun these touristy spots have to offer.

If travelers wish to see more of the movie’s scenery they know and love, then the nearby city of Cornwall is a great place to visit. The coasts of this city are where many of the scenes in the movie were filmed. Visitors can explore the cobble-stoned village, rolling hills, and sandy beaches to feel like they actually stepped foot into the film.
